Marc Haci

Marc is the founder of WellFence and has over 25 years' experience in various leadership, technical, operational roles in oil and gas services. He has worked as an engineering manager, operations manager and VP of directional drilling services in the early days of horizontal drilling from 1993 to 2000. Later, he led the directional drilling automation efforts of Noble Drilling for 2 years and co-founded Slider LLC. He helped grow Slider to become an automation tool of choice for unconventional horizontal drilling. Through Smith international and Schlumberger acquisitions, he continued as VP of operations until April 2014.
Marc holds a bachelor's degree from Istanbul Technical University and Masters and Ph.D. degrees from Louisiana State University, all in Petroleum Engineering.

Arturo Quezada
Vice President

Arturo has over 17 years of experience in several industries working with automation, instrumentation and controls engineering. He started in Electrical Systems engineering with General Motors and earned invaluable experience in Virtual Instrumentation as Applications Engineer at National Instruments in Texas and Mexico assisting a wide range of customers and industries for 4 years. He joined Slider, LLC in September 2005 and was a proud technical contributor on the company success until November 2013. Arturo worked as a Project Engineer for FMC Technologies for the Subsea Controls and Data Management group and later joined WellFence, LLC team on June 2016.
Arturo holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical-Electrical Engineering from the ITESM-CEM (Monterrey Institute of Technology-Mexico State Campus), a Mechatronics specialization diploma from the same education institution and FESTO and a M.Sc. in Engineering Management from the University of Texas in Austin.
